Michelle,   It's not uncommon to have that fear.  It's also not uncommon for people to become a bit anorexic after gastric bypass.  The brain is being "retrained".  You get your dopamine fix from the moving scales instead of the joy of food.  That's how it was for me.  Once you reach goal, it's different.  You aren't getting that "high" feeling from the moving scales and you have to find something else to get that fix.  It's been a constant battle for me since the surgery.   You've made a good step in realizing that it is happening with you, and you need to try to rise above it.  Eat to live.  Make good decisions, and you'll know that you won't gain the weight back, or quit losing.  My "high" now is counting what I've eaten at the end of the day and realizing that I didn't do as bad as I thought.   I know, but whatever works right?  LOL Hang in there!  And remind yourself, if you don't eat, your body will go into starvation mode and hang on to every single thing it can!  Just keep telling yourself that it's worse on your body to NOT eat than it is TO eat.   Hang in there, and if you continue with this feeling, seek counseling!  ;-) HUGS K
